And, Mike surprised me with a romantic dinner at the top of the 63 Building.<br />

<br />
One of those "extra" things are golf courses. There are some golf courses, but they are very highly in demand and cost about $300-$400 per round. Hmmm...1/2 the price of a trip to the Bali or 18 holes. Needless to say, we have not chosen to play many rounds of golf here.<br />
<br />
But, we have chosen to play some Indoor Golf. And, it is more than just Nintendo Wii style. The platform moves and you can see the ball fly through the air on the screen. Koreans know how to make this work...<br />
<br />
Here is our friend Todd on the indoor course.<br />

And he has "assigned" the task to his lovely wife Jennifer :-)<br />
<br />
So, in the meantime, Mike is preparing to continue his home-brewing here in Korea. And, in order to do that, he needed a "really big pot."<br />
<br />
And in Korea, Namdaemun Market is where you can find anything...which is where Mike found this happy Korean Man who was happy to sell him this 15-Gallon Steel Pot.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WICLjHDtE_Y/Tr3bka-4n1I/AAAAAAAAFnE/zepglHmT_8w/s1600/photo+2-2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WICLjHDtE_Y/Tr3bka-4n1I/AAAAAAAAFnE/zepglHmT_8w/s320/photo+2-2.JPG" width="239" /></a></div><br />

The hardest part of Karaoke is all of the strangers staring at you. Noraebang has solved that problem.<div><br />
</div><div>For a mere $10/ hour, you can rent a small room with your friends for a private Karaoke event with tamborines and lots of supporting music. Even Mike sings at Noraebang...after a few beers, of course. </div><div><br />

</b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Wow, never thought I would say this, but Mike bought me a car! Not that Lexus Holiday Big Red Bow event, but ...even better, a cool Dirt Yellow Matiz!</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">Here are the highlights:</div><div style="text-align: left;"></div><ul><li> 0.8L, 3 cylinders of power</li>
<li>turn off the air for big hills gives you turbo-boosting power</li>
<li>probably about 50 miles/ gallon</li>
</ul><div>And...best of all. I get to driver here in Seoul, even with the $8/ gallon gas prices.<br />
<br />
And here she is..</div><div><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RVYppUIgOug/Tr3ZK_TX9GI/AAAAAAAAFms/AUeLXlVTG1k/s1600/photo+4-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RVYppUIgOug/Tr3ZK_TX9GI/AAAAAAAAFms/AUeLXlVTG1k/s320/photo+4-1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div><br />
Mike has proposed some modifications to improve the appearance...Transformers Stripes! What do you think? Since GM has sponsored the Transformer movies, there is an aftermarket kit where you can actually get these stripes :-)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cRmCFOUmuyE/Tr3eRIZanqI/AAAAAAAAFn8/UYNOf3ysFyU/s1600/photo+1.GIF" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cRmCFOUmuyE/Tr3eRIZanqI/AAAAAAAAFn8/UYNOf3ysFyU/s320/photo+1.GIF" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<br />
And if you are skeptical about how pretty my car is, here was my other option. Yes, that was pink on the inside AND outside.<br />

<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VmiK_-xVVzw/TgMhDHaE6tI/AAAAAAAAFf8/CA2CJwIaAx8/s1600/photo+3+%25281%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VmiK_-xVVzw/TgMhDHaE6tI/AAAAAAAAFf8/CA2CJwIaAx8/s320/photo+3+%25281%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">"Non- Instant Ramen for Drinking to relieve a hangover and Rice Roll"</td></tr>
</tbody></table>Two great things about this menu item...<br />
1) They are being very specific that this is "non-instant" ramen<br />
2) Recognize that hangovers require good food to help relieve them!<br />
<br />
Where Americans choose greasy Diner food, White Castle Sliders, late night Taco Bell or Skyline Chili in Cincinnati...Koreans want their Ramen!<br />
<br />

So, we decided to try a Korean Baseball Game.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dgs1Y9ID9d0/TgMcKh5UnCI/AAAAAAAAFfY/99QOl3AiXAo/s1600/photo+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dgs1Y9ID9d0/TgMcKh5UnCI/AAAAAAAAFfY/99QOl3AiXAo/s320/photo+1.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
<br />
There are 8 teams in Korea. LG Twins, Doosan Bears, Samsung Lions, SK Myverns, etc, all of which are owned by the large Korean corporations...in case those names didn't ring a bell to you.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7nzZBAn8HKQ/TgMcLY_5z_I/AAAAAAAAFfo/XZ9sR600arA/s1600/photo+5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7nzZBAn8HKQ/TgMcLY_5z_I/AAAAAAAAFfo/XZ9sR600arA/s320/photo+5.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<br />
The Doosan Bears are our local team...with their stadium in the Jamsil Olympic Park, just about 6km from our house. So, we joined some friends and decided to cheer on our local team.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rCkFr_75l38/TgMcKjMi1-I/AAAAAAAAFfc/qPZmU3tAis0/s1600/photo+2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rCkFr_75l38/TgMcKjMi1-I/AAAAAAAAFfc/qPZmU3tAis0/s320/photo+2.JPG" width="240" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HhBWQQ6aPq0/TgMcKgHHJ3I/AAAAAAAAFfg/Hh5n0XHPM-k/s1600/photo+3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HhBWQQ6aPq0/TgMcKgHHJ3I/AAAAAAAAFfg/Hh5n0XHPM-k/s320/photo+3.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<br />
Great things about Korean Baseball games:<br />
1) tickets are only $8-$12 for good seats<br />
2) stadiums are completely accessible (as is everything else) from the subway, so no worries about drinking and driving<br />
3) no ridiculously priced food or beer...beer $3, kimbab $3, ice cream bar $1.50, KFC family pack $6 or any other Korean food...priceless that you can actually afford to take your family to a baseball game and have a few drinks and without breaking the bank!!<br />
4) choreographed dancers!<br />
5) sing-alongs in Korean to American music (like "Surfin USA, etc)<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Yes, this guy is selling beer from a keg on his back...and<br />
it is only $3.</td></tr>

<br />
We'll be back to support our local Doosan Bears...although I hear they aren't doing so well this season!Jen, Mike & Maddyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11092866473344296571noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669930081336277231.post-84364388652531739132011-06-23T03:42:00.000-07:002011-06-23T03:42:18.643-07:00Chillaxin' on the Roof!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Great part of an ever-transient expat community is the someone is always leaving for another foreign country assignment and has great things to sell. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

<br />
It was a great time. Here is the group at the pool at the Mason's condo. Rob cooked up a Hawaiian BBQ feast.<br />

If it was mentioned in one of my grade school history books, I missed that page. <br />
As kids, we used to joke about "It's not like I am moving to Guam...", meaning that I am not going that far. We said this without the knowledge of what or where Guam was. It was a metaphor, for all we knew. I asked Mike if he had this same joke as a kid...he did now and his History books were not-so-surprisingly superior to mine (as it always is with Mike) and he did know about Guam. <br />
<br />
Well, with all of that out of the way, Mike and I vacationed in Guam a few weeks ago and it was actually a real place, only about 5 hours from Korea and a very nice tropical island. We had planned on a trip to Japan, but unfortunately the effects of the earthquake and tsunami made us change our plans. So, in a last minute effort to find another vacation spot, Guam popped up. The most appealing part of Guam was...it is a US Territory. Who knew? It is like the lost land over there.<br />
<br />
Some great shots of the beaches in Guam...<br />

Guam is part of Micronesia (no, that is not those Micro-mini cars with the commercial where the guy talks really, really fast). Micronesia is in an area between Hawaii and Japan, basically. That is the best I can describe it. Guam is next to the Marianna Islands, which includes Saipan. Note cool history here: Saipan is where the plane carrying the second nuclear bomb took off from. <br />
<br />
Guam was originally founded by Magellan for Spain and was under Spanish rule for a long, long time. The Japanese invaded and Guam became a center of the War in the Pacific during WWII. And there are lots of War Memorials to remember the fallen soldiers there.<br />
<br />
A few remnants of the Spanish rule of the island for many years.<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--dNhC04g-Qk/Tb0k8Td4QzI/AAAAAAAAFIM/Clg_dgu7RIc/s1600/May+Race+-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" j8="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--dNhC04g-Qk/Tb0k8Td4QzI/AAAAAAAAFIM/Clg_dgu7RIc/s320/May+Race+-1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">It was my first back since the Seoul Marathon in late March. Still nursing a bit of a bad knee, so just a 5K for me and 10K for Mike. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-a7tScyB-kJ8/Tb0k89AtuzI/AAAAAAAAFIQ/H1KARX0eYBc/s1600/May+Race+-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" j8="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-a7tScyB-kJ8/Tb0k89AtuzI/AAAAAAAAFIQ/H1KARX0eYBc/s320/May+Race+-2.jpg" width="182" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-A-z9Aoag64g/Tb0k-eGaECI/AAAAAAAAFIU/5QdPicUdJos/s1600/May+Race+-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" j8="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-A-z9Aoag64g/Tb0k-eGaECI/AAAAAAAAFIU/5QdPicUdJos/s320/May+Race+-3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<br />
Mike had a PR for his 10K <em>(not inlcuding when he was 17 Years old, but I don't think that counts anymore).</em> He now officially has a faster 10K time than me!<br />

Hard to explain. Some sites call it the Eastern version of the Blue Man Group...very high energy, crowd-involvement required show. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">At any point, there is drumming, wacky Korean humor, food flying, knives thrown, plates thrown, men kissing and even some taekwondo and numchucks (made of wisks!). It was like I was standing in a Bath n Body Works at home :-) I think it is sad that is where my mind goes when I think of lilacs, although BNBW marketing company would be so happy. <br />
<br />
When I looked around, I realized that I was surrounded by beautiful flowers everywhere. <br />
<br />
Thought I would share some of the those with you. If you look close, you can see Maddy in one of the pictures. <br />

<br />
This year, the Adidas Race Shirt (race swag) was neon green...and everyone wore the shirt. In the U.S., it is an unwritten rule that you don't get to wear the free race t-shirt until you have completed the race. Here in Korea, things are different...I believe the understanding is that, if you are given a t-shirt, then they must expect you to wear it ?!<br />
<br />
Well, with neon green shirts, it creates a sea of green...<br />
<br />

And they don't last long (especially with the wind here). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Cherry Blossoms are a sign that Spring has arrived here in Seoul and the trees are beautiful. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Yeouido Park is the prime area to see the Cherry Blossoms, but I think there were actually better ones right outside our house.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

In one sentence...If you ever get a chance to go, GO!<br />
<br />
About five days after Bali, Mike and I left a snowy (yes, snow) Seoul for our 7 hour flight to Bali. We were spending 3 nights in Ubud (home of Eat, Pray, Love) and 2 nights in Nusa Dua in the Hyatt. Ubud was our favorite.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Mz4PN6F0TBo/TZRhYLeLW5I/AAAAAAAAESM/o7wIk4AETwY/s1600/DSC02955.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Mz4PN6F0TBo/TZRhYLeLW5I/AAAAAAAAESM/o7wIk4AETwY/s200/DSC02955.JPG" width="200" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NWa_5cPl4qw/TZRhc1nNCTI/AAAAAAAAESc/HV4dxr4l8Ek/s1600/DSC02957.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NWa_5cPl4qw/TZRhc1nNCTI/AAAAAAAAESc/HV4dxr4l8Ek/s200/DSC02957.JPG" width="200" /></a></div><br />
<br />
We had a gorgeous Villa in Ubud right in downtown Ubud. We had a private pool and breakfast delivered outside to our vila each morning.<br />

<br />
In a taxi by 6AM with Pierre (our neighbor who also runs) and at Gwanghamun by 6:20AM, followed by 2 hours of waiting in the cold rain. Not good planning on our part, but my fellow runners will know that the Onofrays prefer to be early to races...nerves are already working usually. Don't need traffic jams, porta-potty lines and crowds adding to the nerves.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dHLrX5zvk7g/TZKFY9stYqI/AAAAAAAAD70/5-7kAtIzujY/s1600/_MG_9013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dHLrX5zvk7g/TZKFY9stYqI/AAAAAAAAD70/5-7kAtIzujY/s320/_MG_9013.JPG" width="213" /></a></div><br />
<br />
We met up with the other Seoul Flyers, bought our 2,000 KRW ponchos from the ajimas selling them everywhere...and proceeded to wait for the start. Here are a few of us prepping (in our own ways) for the start of the race.<br />
<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Mike was an awesome supporter, and jumped on and off the subway to catch me and some of the other Seoul Flyers along the route. For those of you who know Seoul a bit, we start up and Gwanghamun and end down at Jamsil Stadium south of the river. We go back and forth along the Cheongycheong River, head east again and pass Children's grand park, then past Seoul Forest Park, across the river, circle around Jamsil and finish in the stadium...and they make you run the whole track in the stadium...brutal!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Overall, I am happy with the Marathon, although I am currently on the injured list. I was on track for an awesome PR of a 4:10 Marathon for the first 2/3 of the race, but about 30K, I fell apart...legs tightened up, knees throbbed, (I swear some little efl was stabbing me in the knee with a pen constantly...bugger!) and overall...lost lots of time walking a bit, stretching and just cursing the rain. But, I finished in a grand time of 4:29 and was happy to finish and see Mike there!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

<br />
And Kerrie has graciously been willing to help me! <br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Nxgd8f5uWPA/TXMlUgz4aHI/AAAAAAAAD24/Xj5dfox0TV4/s1600/DSC02949.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="240" r6="true" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Nxgd8f5uWPA/TXMlUgz4aHI/AAAAAAAAD24/Xj5dfox0TV4/s320/DSC02949.JPG" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Kerrie is on the right!</td></tr>
</tbody></table>Earlier this week, Kerrie gave me a lesson in bread-baking 101. We had been over her house for dinner a few months ago and she had made an awesome loaf of fresh baked bread to go along with dinner. There really is nothing better than fresh baked bread. I gobbled down as much as I could fit at dinner...and then she sent us home with the rest of the loaf! I immediately froze it when I got home (no preservatives makes it go back pretty quickly) and made some of the best tuna-salad sandwiches in the following days. <br />
<br />
I was inspired and...(as all people tend to say) she said it was easy. So, after much rearranging of busy schedules and planning, Kerrie & I commenced Bread Baking 101 earlier this week.<br />
<br />
And...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-UtebVJlEag0/TYGB1XkmBGI/AAAAAAAAD6Q/leYGZ04SqXc/s1600/bread.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" r6="true" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-UtebVJlEag0/TYGB1XkmBGI/AAAAAAAAD6Q/leYGZ04SqXc/s320/bread.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
My first loaf of bread (no bread maker, my friends!). It is a honey oatmeal bread. We actually made the dough at Kerrie's house, then I brought it back to my house to bake. Upon which I made a zillion errors...forgot I was supposed to let it sit in the fridge overnight and baked it that night, forgot to let it rise in the pan (duh!), and other minor mis-steps.<br />
<br />
The bread turned out good, but my errors prevented it from being great. The one Kerrie made at her house was better, so no beginners luck in bread baking...more practice and reading the instructions thoroughly makes perfect. <br />
<br />
So, I am inspired to bake...or at least try! Do you have a favorite bread, roll or any recipe that you like? Share it with me...I'd love to try!Jen, Mike & Maddyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11092866473344296571noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669930081336277231.post-25412803697696050182011-03-16T20:29:00.000-07:002011-03-16T20:29:15.550-07:00Spell Check.... Please!If you have ever travelled abroad, you probably take the numerous amount of signs in English for granted. Honestly, in most European and Asian countries, you can travel around without a bit of knowledge of the local language, because they have kindly taught all of their citizens English and translated most of the essential signs (exit, bathroom, subway, etc) to English. And...have you ever stopped to appreciate that fact? <br />
<br />
Recently, I have. With over seven months living here in Korea, I regulary say "Hello", "Thank You", "Good-bye", my address for taxis, ordering food and some other basics in Korean on a regular basis, but it is entirely possible to live in Korea and never learn a drop of English. Good and Bad! Less motivation to force you to learn the language, but makes the transition much easier. <br />
<br />
All Korean children are taught English, at least for a few years, and all major road and directional signs are in Korean and English...<br />
<br />
My one pet peeve, that you may find consistent with all American expats in Korea, is the lack of Spell Check. They have taken all of the trouble to add the English translation, but they SPELLED it wrong! Arghhh! <br />
<br />
Do you think the Korean Gov't would hire me as a sign proof-reader??? <br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Can you see what is wrong with this sign?</td></tr>

This is Sales 101...Location, Location, Location...and I think Sales & Marketing Text books should use this guy as an example. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-aAYvembmjAY/TYF9e_WfsOI/AAAAAAAAD6A/cuyOS6A2IZM/s1600/cotton+candy.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" r6="true" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-aAYvembmjAY/TYF9e_WfsOI/AAAAAAAAD6A/cuyOS6A2IZM/s400/cotton+candy.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />
What a great idea...and so simple. He has a captured market...they are hungry, they love sugar and many of them have a little bit of lunch money left in their pockets! Cha-Ching!<br />
<br />
I swear that this could not happen in America. There would be so many parents, teachers, school administrators and everyone complaining (but then feeding their kids sugar-filled cereals for breakfast), that eventually the guy would have to move. But, not here in Korea...if there is a street corner and you think you can sell something on it...go for it!! <br />
<br />
I love this picture. I just think it captures the hard-working spirit of Koreans. I think we could learn something from them!Jen, Mike & Maddyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11092866473344296571noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2669930081336277231.post-10351980522603104372011-03-16T20:11:00.000-07:002011-03-16T20:11:12.877-07:00Seoul Flyers SocialSeoul Flyers is the running group that Mike & I belong to here in Seoul. They are a pretty large group of over 500 people (~ 50-100 active) that run for fun, run competitively, run for the social scene or run for sanity (I am in this group). The folks are completely diverse from native Korean, Australian, South African, British, Irish, Americans, Canadians, men, women, young, old, mothers, single. And since most runners are good-hearted, solid people...it makes for a good group. <br />
<br />
Thanks to the help of the folks providing some of the not-available-inrgedients from the US Army Base, I was able to make some good ole lasagna. (ricotta cheese cannot be found in Korea and mozzarella is price-prohibitive). Wow...runners really know how to make up a pot-luck though because our house was full of goodies like dark chocolate & bacon cupcakes, 7 layer mexican dip, corn bread with honey butter and loads of great things. <br />
<br />
It was really a great time and we are happy to have such a great group of friends here in Seoul.<br />
